"Being in the education field for almost 15 years, I absolutely love being a part of students' learning journey! Watching students strengthen their language skills and become confident in communicating in another language is a great honor.” Tiyaná believes that learning a new language is extremely important because it can not only open up many doors but it also breaks down barriers of communication amongst cultures and people. Tiyaná has studied the Spanish language at Rutgers University and obtained both a Bachelor's and a Master's in Teaching the Spanish language. Tiyaná has taught general education subjects to Spanish speaking ESL students for almost 10 years before transitioning to teaching Spanish at the college Level. She has taught Spanish courses at Rutgers University in New Jersey and Alvernia University in Pennsylvania. She brings her knowledge as a college professor and former ESL instructor to companies who are interested in learning how to use the Spanish Language in the workplace. Tiyana’s goal is that each student will leave her course feeling confident in reading, writing and speaking the Spanish Language!
