Riley Scott

English Language Instructor

Riley is an ESL instructor from Saint Louis, Missouri. She studied Spanish and International Relations at The University of Alabama, and holds a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Riley specializes in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction, pronunciation coaching, second-language writing, and general English instruction.​ Riley has more than five years of experience teaching English to adults. She takes a communicative approach to language teaching, and creates a learning environment in which students are encouraged to use the language through conversation activities. Riley has presented her work at several TESOL conferences across the country. She currently teaches at The English Center, an intensive English school for adults, in Miami, Florida.
