Today we launched the new workplacelanguages.com.
The old site did its job for a long time. But it had grown the way most company websites grow — one page at a time, added whenever we launched a service or a client asked a question we hadn't answered publicly yet. The information was all there. Finding it was the problem.
So we started over, and we started from the visitor's side of the screen.
Who we built it for
Most people who land on our site fall into one of a few groups.
An HR director at a manufacturing plant with a workforce that speaks four languages and a safety training program written in one. An operations VP whose supervisors can't give clear shift instructions to half their crew. A communications lead who needs 200 pages of policy documents translated by the end of the quarter. A COO who wants their executive team functional in Spanish before a site visit in Monterrey.
Those are different problems. The old site made all four people read the same overview page before they could tell whether we were the right call.
What actually changed
Training is organized by how it gets delivered. In-person classes at your facility. Live online cohorts for distributed teams. Lunchtime sessions, onsite or online, for operations that can't pull people off the line for a full hour. Even 1-on-1 coaching for executives. If you know your constraint is scheduling, and it usually is, you can now start there instead of working backward from a services list.
Every language service has its own page. Written translations and localization. Multilingual voiceovers for eLearning and training video. Over-the-phone interpretation with access across 240+ languages. Interpretation through video conferencing. Transcription. Subtitling and closed captioning. Each page explains the scope, the use cases, and what you'd need to give us to get started.
The site is now multilinguagle. English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. It was strange to talk about breaking down language barriers on a site that only worked in one language. That's fixed.
We put the team on the page. Full profiles of our program directors, training coordinators, and language specialists. When you run a program with us, these are the people you'll be emailing. You should be able to see them before you sign anything.
Proficiency testing is easier to find. English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese assessments, useful for placement, hiring decisions, and establishing the baseline you'll measure progress against.
It's fast, and it works on a phone. A meaningful share of our visitors are reading from a plant floor, a job site, or a kitchen. The site is optimized for that now.
Take a look
Start wherever your needs are: corporate language training, language services, or the bilingual resources library.
And if you'd rather just talk to someone: tell us your languages, locations, and goals through the quote request form, and we'll come back with a recommended next step.
We'd genuinely like to hear what you think of the new site. If something's hard to find, tell us — that's the whole point of having rebuilt it.
Any Language. Any Industry. Any Time.
